Who we are
IndiaBitcoin (indiabitcoin.com) is a free education site about Bitcoin in India, powered by Unocoin Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore. This notice covers this website only. If you open an account on Unocoin, Unocoin's own privacy policy applies to that account.
We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act): we tell you what we collect before we collect it, we use it only for the purpose stated here, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
What we collect, and why

We do not sell personal data, we do not use advertising cookies, and we do not ask for your PAN, Aadhaar, bank details or wallet keys anywhere on this site. Ask Satoshi removes PAN, Aadhaar-shaped numbers and OTPs before a question leaves our server.
This site is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please do not sign up for the newsletter.
Your analytics choice
Google Analytics stays off until you say yes on the banner. You can change your mind here at any time; turning it off also clears the Google Analytics cookies on this site.

Your rights under the DPDP Act
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and who we shared it with.
- Ask us to correct it, complete it or erase it.
- Withdraw consent at any time: the unsubscribe link in every email, or the analytics button above. Withdrawing does not affect what was done before.
- Nominate someone to act for you if you die or cannot act yourself.
- Complain to us first, and if we do not resolve it, to the Data Protection Board of India.
To use any of these rights, email support@unocoin.com with the subject "IndiaBitcoin privacy" and the email address you signed up with. We reply within the time the DPDP Rules set.
