Bangalore-based online air ticket aggregator Mystifly has secured Rs 33 crore in investment from Japanese firm Recruit Holdings. Its B2B marketplace MyFareBox will be deploying the investment in technology, sales and marketing. The company was founded in July 2009 by Rajeev Kumar Nair and Jitha Nair.
Helpchat Reportedly Raises Series C Investment from American Express Ventures and Sequoia Capital
Chandigarh-based Coraza Technologies which operates Helpchat, has secured an undisclosed amount of money in Series C round. The investment was led by American Express Ventures and saw participation from Sequoia Capital and Singapore-based East Ventures. The company is yet to announce this officially. Helpchat (previously Akosha) was founded in 2010 by Ankur Singla.
Unocoin Secures $1.5M in Pre-Series A Round
Bangalore-based Bitcoin startup Unocoin has raised $1.5 million in a Pre-Series-A investment. The round was led by Blume Ventures, Mumbai Angels and ah! Ventures, with participation from overseas investors – Digital Currency Group, Boost VC, Bank to the Future, Bitcoin Capital and FundersClub. The bitcoin storage and trading firm was founded in 2013 by Sathvik Vishwanath, Harish B V, Abhinand Kaseti, and Sunny Ray. It claims to have 100,000 monthly active customers, who drive $3 million worth transactions every month.
Farm-Produce eCommerce Venture MeraKisan Raises Investment from Mahindra Univeg
Pune-based online marketplace for fresh farm produce, MeraKisan, has raised an undisclosed amount of investment from Mahindra Univeg, a joint venture between Mahindra Agri Solutions Ltd and Belgium-based Univeg. The company has been operational since 2014. However it was registered as a private entity only in July 2016, where its original Founder Prashanth Patil will own 66.83% stake, and the rest would be owned by the joint venture.

It saw participation from other existing investors including NTT Finance, Nexus Venture Partners and Tenaya Capital. Druva was founded Milind Borate and Jaspreet Singh, and is planning to go public soon.
